On the day his asylum is finally set to be approved, a Pakistani immigrant becomes the victim of a violent racist attack, triggering a chain of events that transform his life in ways he never expected.
Usman Ally has been juggling an impressive film and television career as an actor. And we have been big fans. So we were especially honored when he trusted Tightrope to work on his directorial debut, Together, we collaborated on post-production and sound design, which included a lot of foley work for the depicted violence, and Mikhail composed an original score, also recorded and produced at Tightrope.
We are thrilled that this film is getting such accolades and gaining momentum on the festival circuit and are excited for the future of this film and of this important story.
