Called “thrilling” by The Washington Post and “genius in motion” by the San Francisco Chronicle, this groundbreaking theatrical experience follows a freedom seeker and an unlikely ally as they forge a remarkable bond that transcends borders.
To promote their upcoming live-looped hip-hop musical (developed in collaboration with our very own Mikhail Fiksel), Audible wanted to create a music video inspired by the hip-hop gems of the 90s. Tightrope was delighted to help.
“Two Bodies” - the opening number of this musical that tells the story of the Underground Railroad that went South - was recorded and produced at Tightrope (performed by the co-creators of Mexodus, Brian Quijada and Nygel D. Robinson), And then, we invited our friends at HMS Media to take over our entire facility and to film an audacious music video. The result is exactly what we all need right now - a little history, a little color, and a whole lot of talent, artistry, and mad skillz.
