Following our successful collaboration on the epic sci-fi series “Lake Song”, Make Believe Association came back to us with an even more ambitious idea - to reimagine the most famous work of theatre as an audio play told entirely from the perspective of the titular character.

To accomplish this, we designed a binaural microphone rig worn by our lead actor and captured all of the action literally from the inside of his ears. Recorded in a marathon of 20+ sessions followed by a year of post-production, the result is an uncanny experience where the audience truly feels as if THEY are the tragic hero trying to navigate the madness outside and within.

Hamlet premiered at the Tribeca Festival and has been featured on countless news and entertainment segments. And, despite being independently produced, it has been holding steady in the Top Fiction Shows on Apple Podcasts. And we couldn’t be prouder. This is exactly the kind of work we want to champion - bold, innovative, and approached with dedication and care.
